It’s not a huge step forward — only a bus stop shelter — but it’s another sign of progress in the ongoing Tarrant County College Northwest redevelopment project.
Built by Trinity Metro, the new shelter commands the parking area in front of NW01. It was ready Jan. 15 in time for use by students enrolled for the spring semester.
The original bus stop was in a drop-off zone between WADM and WTLO, two of the buildings that have been demolished to enable new construction. A campus facilities team moved the stop to a temporary location next to the Fire Service Training Center, where it stood until the new shelter was completed.
